Chello Digital Media Centre is a state of the art facility dedicated to the efficient handling of broadcast television media, providing channel playout services, TV distribution and content delivery for new media applications. The DMC also provides the technical services that support over 60 channel DTH satellite TV platforms across Central Europe. The Chello DMC houses an advanced and highly integrated media handling and playout system, using state of the art server technology to achieve high levels of reliability and efficiency. From material delivery by file or tape, through languaging, digitization/ingest, archiving, playout and distribution, the material is processed and tracked using bespoke systems, and integrated with industry standard scheduling, automation, server and archiving products. The DMC provides broadcast facilities for leading international channels including JimJam, Zone Reality, National Geographic, MGM and the Sci-fi Channel.
