Dermot joined Chello Zone as CEO in January 2002. He was responsible for expanding the group’s global broadcasting division from seven million to 150 million households and guiding the company though its sale to Chellomedia in 2005. Prior to Chello Zone, he was a founding member of Discovery Networks Europe (DNE), building the reach of the network by developing their digital channels and growing subscribers to 92 million across the region. Prior to joining DNE, Dermot worked in Corporate Recovery and for General Electric’s NBC.
